I am an LAPC and I specialized in depression, anxiety, anger, substance abuse, relapse prevention, building coping skills, stress management, and relationship issue. My main therapeutic approach is cognitive behavioral therapy but I utilize key techniques found in Adlerian, Gestalt, and motivational counseling. Additionally, I am certified in MRT. I aim to shape my treatment style around the needs of my clients. I believe that everyone has potential to grow and heal and that many of us have difficulty in reaching that potential without a little guidance, support, and encouragement. I approach counseling as a journey, which requires understanding, empathy, and a nonjudgmental stance.
I obtained my Master’s degree from Mercer University and my bachelors from Kennesaw State University. I have been in the counseling field for two years. I offer individual and group therapy for teenagers and adults.
